Did i read somewhere that my droid x can be used as a modem? Love my droid.

The feature is a Mobile Hotspot, the icon is located in the start menu labeled as 3G Mobile Hotspot...
But the app requires a 20.00 plan for a 2Gig limit....

I am not sure if you have ever used the Android Market through you PC before, but it is just like the Android Market on your phone, but you can view it through your PC. Just log in with your Gmail user name and password you used on your phone. You can even install apps remotely. The link above is a search for apps that do what you are asking about.

Ann is correct, those apps are against the TOS and can lead to service being discontinued under the contracts terms...
