I just bought the droid and want to know how to delete a contact? Also, I would like to know how to download ringtones. The little manual doesn't tell ME enough about the phone. I had one of the really old phones, so need all the help I can get.

Delete a contract:

Go to your contacts

Hold your finger down on the contact you want to delete

A menu will pop up, tap  "delete contact"

 

Download ringtones:

There are free apps you can download. Tap tha market icon and then do a search. I would recommend getting the app called Ringdroid or Mabilo Lite. With Ringdroid you can make your own ringtones with songs that are in your phone.  Mabilo Lite already has ringtones available for you to download from a web site.
