Is there such way to have an aol app to get my email but without getting notifications everytime i get an email?

Incoming Server Settings
username is you@aol.com
password is your password
imap.aol.com
port 143 should be set already
security none
imap path blank. optional
then hit next
Outgoing
smtp server-smtp.aol.com
port 587
security type none
check required sign in box
then your username@aol.com
and your passoword again
then hit next.
