You need the outgoing mail server settings. If you have a cable company provider specially. If your gmail works fine, its an email server settings., Make sure you get the port number, require authentication and all those goodies.
Here is the incoming & outgoing server for AOL.
Incoming Server:
IMAP:
imap.aol.com
port: 143
Outgoing Server:
smtp.aol.com
port 587
dsuttonva- Here is the incoming & outgoing server for Cox.
Incoming Server:
State POP3 Server
CT, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, NE,
NV, OH, RI, VA
pop.east.cox.net AZ, CA
pop.west.cox.net
Outgoing Server:
State SMTP Server
CT, FL, GA, ID, KS, LA, NE,
NV, OH, RI, VA

For Cox, the best bet is to give them a call and ask what the settings should be. Cox outgoing and incoming server names rely on the state you are in.

You also must have the correct responses to the four security sections
For AOL, the first two are No, Yes. For outgoing, they are both yes.
