gingerbread update and clipboard

In the previous froyo version, when I held my finger on different email links in gmail, I was able to paste all of them from the clipboard. With Gingerbread, I do not have the clipboard option and can only copy one item at a time. Is there a workaround?

:smileysurprised: Am I understanding you correctly, you could select multiple address links at one time and they will copy to a clipboard and when you go to paste there is a option to paste all the links you copied?   This is the first time I have heard that this was possible because until GB I didnt see a quality copy and paste option on Motorola Android devices.

correct, sort of. You could not copy multiple links/addresses at one time, but in succession. There was  a "paste from clipboard" option (which saved clips from the most recent to days ago) as well as a "paste" option (which would paste the last item copied). This was not just in gmail but any area which you were able to copy. Makes me sad as it was very useful.

The paste from Clipboard was a VERY useful function that has vanished in Gingerbread.  Does anyone have a work-around?  I used this all time!  Now it is gone!  HELP

I have the same complaint, i used the crap out of my clipboard. It also doesnt let me link contacts (facebook people with their numbers i already have in my directory) All i have to say is if their isnt a fix and they cant back me up to my life before this crappy gingerbread I am not going to be a happy customer at all, and will switch all my phones over to AT&T when my contracts up

Good morning and welcome to the community!

 

I did research this concern and have not found any information on this feature. I'm not familiar with a clipboard option on the android devices I've had. Google may have removed this feature to keep Gingerbread a similar experience across all devices. However, I do agree this would be a beneficial feature and I will escalate this to our product team for answers.
