Does anyone else find it takes 3 or 4 minutes for "Searching GPS" to disappear in Driving Navigation (part of Google Maps)? I called Verizon about the issue and they said it is a known bug, but I don't see anything about it in the forum. I came from a Galaxy S 4G on T-mobile where I would just open Driving Navigation through Google Maps, and I would start getting directions right away. Having to now wait in the car for three of four minutes waiting for it to find its location is inconvenient.

Its very frustrating to not be able to get the navigation working correctly. Please check the location settings and pull the battery and re test. Are any other applications running slowly?

I notices the same problem with mine. I have a GPS though, so I haven't had a need to use my phone yet, just used it once to test it out. My mother has the Droid 2 Global and hers only takes a few seconds though, but mine took a few minutes. I would have thought it was poor reception except I had set both hers and mine from the same room.
