i cant update my X to the latest software. when i do to check for this update my phone says "Check for update was not available at this time. Try again later" it has said this every time I check since the 19 when it rolled out.
Make sure you have Wifi disabled and a 3G signal while you attempt to update. This will eliminate any possibility of the phone trying to update over wifi instead of 3g.
I can't update either. I just keep gettine "Update was not available at this time" I have 516 as well so I know there is an update available. My friend who got his X at the same time has had no problem. When he tries his phone says "Phone up to date." I am a little worried since 2.2 is right around the corner!
you will. i just got my OTA update today at noon. i rebooted my phone and there it was. i had the same exact thing ther you have going...so dont worry.
