I do a lot of hiking in the mountains and when I had a basic cell phone I had pretty good signal in most areas but I upgraded to the Motorola Droid X2 this year and now I do not have as good signal reception. I have searched on the net for a signal booster/amplifier but all I have found are ones that go in your home or car. I was wondering if their is one that can run off of a battery or maybe even connect to the cell phone and use its battery to amplify my signal. I have the extended life battery so that is not an issue. I was thinking of one that I would plug in to the phone while it is in my pack and I can use a Bluetooth headset. Any ideas or suggestions?
