in queue or stuck

does this mean that I'm in the queue for shipping when stock comes in or that my order is stuck someplace?

that more appears your payment method isnt going thru... it should like this if it was in queue for shipping:

If you can check your payment method and it shows no charge for the price of the phone it's not going through.   You might have to call and get it resubmitted.

I just checked my CC and they never deducted from it.  Great...now I guess I'll go to the back of the line and get my device in October or so... 

 

Maybe I should just cancel the order... :smileysad:

call customer service and see if u can have the payment method reran or use an alternate method.. should still keep your spot in the line

ok, I finally called consumer sales tonight.  I sat on hold for 15 minutes to get a guy that mumbled and could barely be understood.  I explained why I was calling and he said "you need sales" and transferred me.  I then sat on hold for another 45 minutes and was greeted by a nice lady that was pleasant to talk to and wanted to help.  She said that she could not access my order because it was done over the Internet.  She did say that she could transfer me to the correct department though.  I heard a line start to ring and then a recorded message came on, something about a regional center and "sorry we are closed right now" <click> :smileymad:

 

I then dialed customer service and hit 0 instead of a menu option.  It asked for my reason for calling to which I responded "hung up on by sales".  Within 2 minutes I was talking to a customer service rep that was extremely helpful.  She was able to pull up my account and order and verify all of the information on it as well as the date/time that I ordered.  She then verified that my shipment was pending and that according to the corporate statement, all phones ordered on 7/15 after 2:30pm will ship on 7/23.  She also said that my CC would not be charged until the phone actually ships, which is fine with me.

 

Sooooo....hopefully I'll have my phone in a few days.  Shipping on the 23rd I won't have it until at least Monday though... I'm just hoping for the best.

Well I hope mine has shipped then because mine has been charged to my credit card and it is not just a hold put on that amount.Mine was ordered on the 16th.

And I'm not to happy having Verizon take my money 2 or 3 weeks before they give me my products first company I've ever had do this most will just put hold on the money but they know most credit card company's will only hold it for 10 days and I think Verizon knows it will be longer so they go ahead and take the money and in my case thats $600.

I'm coming from AT&T everyone complains about their service I'm hoping Verizon gets a lot better because so far they have not touched AT&T service and never a dropped call and get 1.5  meg download just want to try different phones.

I was assured yet again, this time by the Internet sales department, that my phone order is in a "completed" state and is simply waiting for the tracking number.  I was also assured that it will ship tomorrow, 7/23.  I certainly hope so.

Well I guess the last e-mail I sent finally worked mine 3 Droid X should be delivered 07/23/2010. :smileyhappy:

Now all I know is I hope they don't do away with unlimited data or grandfather us in like AT&T did.

DO NOT believe that your order will ship by 7/27 if you ordered via the web site! I ordered on 7/15 at 10:24PM.  I was just informed at 8:05AM that shipments are based on PROCESSED time.  My order was PROCESSED on 7/20, pushing my ship date for my LAUNCH DAY order to 8/3!

Here's the full story, up to this point

 

7/15 ordered @ 10:24 PM
7/19 called customer service to verify that order was ok, was told will ship on 7/23
7/21 email sent to internetorders@verizonwireless.com asking about order status
7/21 called customer service to verify that order was ok, was told will ship on 7/23
7/22 called customer service to verify that order was ok, was told that order processed on 7/20 and won't ship til 8/3
7/23 @ 8:00 AM called internet sales directly @ 1-800-711-7773, was told "our computers couldn't keep up"
7/23 @ 8:18 AM finally received email response from internetsales@verizonwireless.com saying that order processed on 7/20, won't ship til 8/3
7/23 @ 10:00 AM called internet sales again and as soon as I gave order number was told that I had just called in, should stop calling, and should consider trying to use another vendor such as wirefly or amazon
7/23 backup order placed with WireFly.com, they are on backorder as well.
7/23 @ 12:00 PM order status has finally updated to

 

"Order Status: Your order has been processed and will be shipped based on inventory availability and shipping method. You will receive shipment notification and tracking details via email." 

 

from

" Your order is currently being processed. Please check back tomorrow." 

 

based on the timing that my order FINALLY updated on the order status page I'm betting that my order fell through the cracks someplace and no one really cared to go looking for it.  It is WAY too much of a coincidence that I received my email response and the order status updated right after I called in to the department that actually took the order.  Luckily a CSR gave me their direct number as it is NOT listed on verizonwireless.com... check the Droid Incredible forums though...it's listed there.

I ordered mine in store on July 18th told I'd have it shipped by the 27th.  Well for days now I've been seeing people getting theirs that just ordered them a few days ago and was wondering what the heck was up.  I called this morning cause I still haven't gotten any emails even acknowledging my order or a tracking number.  The CSR said mine has shipped and will be here tomorrow YAY.  I still haven't gotten any info though like tracking but got the number over the phone.  When I look at the tracking it says it started in Newark, went to West Chester then back to Newark!  I'm probably about equal distance from both of those so I'm not sure why they just couldn't deliver it instead of playing hot potato back and forth between west chester and newark for  a few days.
