Try Reseting it Back to Factory Setting.

Did you ever figure it out? I have the same problem today and not sure how to get it back. It's listed in my apps but everything is blanked out and unable to be selected or used. ??

Hello and thank you to the community for your postings.

melyssar, are you still experiencing this issue with your camera? Have you tried a hard reset? If not, follow the steps below:

- From a home screen, select the applications tab (located in the lower left).

- Select Settings.

- Select SD & phone storage.

- Select Factory data reset.

- Select Reset phone.

- Select Erase Everything.

- Perform Initial Activation by dialing *228 + Send and choose option 1.

That should correct the issue. If the issue persists, send me a PM with your name and mobile number.

Thank you,

Will this delete any pictures and or everything else in my phone? I'm having the same problem with my camera, especially the gallery. It's disappeared from my apps and I can't open the pictures/videos at all. I downloaded a gallery app and see the pictures are still on my phone.

Sandi4tpc, thanks for your inquiry. The factory reset resets the phone to default settings and erases all info on the device. Anything that is on the SD card will not be erased. For this phone, pictures should default to the SD card. You can double check by rapping & holding one of your pics, select Details, and verify File path has sdcard listed. Other information like applications will be lost. You will need to make sure your contacts are backed up to either Backup Assistant or Google.
