New to Droid...my phone will not stay connected to the internet. It keeps having to be connected to a wi-Fi connection. Is there something I should do to keep it connected all the time? Also, it doesn't check for my hotmail emails ( i have it set to check every 5 minutes). Help!
Are you talking about your internet while at home? I have not been able to make my hotmail work on my droid. Maybe someone has figured that out.
You should not have to do anything to connect to the internet. You should make sure that "airplane mode" is off (by pressing and holding the power button you'll be able to see the status of this option).
When you are experiencing these problems connecting to the internet, is there a "3G" or "1x" symbol at the top of your screen?
When you experience these problems, you also might want to check under "Settings...About phone...status...mobile network status". This will tell you if you are actually connected to the data (internet) network.
Does this happen at the same geographic location (i.e. always at home, always at work etc.) or is it more random?
I had a similar issue for several months before it was resolved.
