The Motorola Droid Pro and the Motorola Droid 2 are different devices but made by the same manufacturer. The Droid 2 has more talk time, is heavier in weight, and has a larger screen size. Both have all the same features, including being global ready.
Listed below are tips for Battery life:
- Follow the manufacturer's instructions for properly charging the device.
- Do not store the device in direct sunlight or hot locations.
- Do not rely on the device's vehicle power adapter as the battery charger for the device.
The vehicle power adapter is meant to be a temporary low battery level solution until the device can be properly charged.
For overheating issues, you will need to visit a corporate store in your area. The store representatives with review your phone and accessories. Please take any extra batteries with you to the store along with the car charger or travel charger/desktop charger.
Additionally, the battery being warm to the touch while in use and warm while charging the battery are normal expectations. The heat is excessive we will need to evaluate your phone.

I'm sure not being able to get the most out of your battery is very frustrating! I would like to help!
Is it my understanding you have experienced the same battery issues with 3 different Droid 2 Global phones? If so, was the same battery used for all 3 Droids? This may be an issue with the battery, if this were the case. I will send you a direct message, and you can reply with the requested information so I can further assist.
