To save a ringtone to your device and set up as a ringtone please follow the steps I've included below:
- From the home screen, touch the applications tab(located at the bottom of the display).
- Touch Messaging.
- Touch one of the following options. (Universal Inbox or Text Messaging)
- Touch a message.
- Touch and hold the attachment.
- Touch Save audio.
- Press the Home button.
- Touch the applications tab.
- Touch Music.
- Touch the Songstab.
- Touch and hold the song.
- Touch Use as phone ringtone.

Morgan,
I'm probably being very dim here, but I still don't get it. Selected ANY message? None of them have an attachment.
I'm spoiled by my old phone - LG - that just listed every ringtone I loaded on any contact or type of notification and let me choose.
I have lots of ringtones on my SD card and none show up on ringtone lists in calls, notifications or contacts. Where should they be loaded in order to be accessible?

Put them in sdcard\media\audio\ringtones.
Make sure that they are mp3's.
