Can I download M4A music files to my droid x? If not can I convert those files so that they are compatible with the droid x?

I've heard of a lot of issues transfering Itunes songs to the X. I know they don't play without conversion, search the web for a conversion software that will change them to MP3.

I don't know about the iTunes music files (I think they are saved as AAC files by default?), but I used Audacity to re-save/convert some WMA files to MP3 files to use as ringtones with my X. Audacity is free and is amazingly powerful. Just be sure to download the MP3 codecs to save files as MP3s.
