I thought I saw someone talking about a music app on here the other day and I can't find it. I had to reset my phone and I lost pandora. So I go to reinstall it (I never had automatic updates on) and it says in the permissions:
"Read contact data, add or modify calendar events and send email to guests"
**bleep** is with that? I don't want that - so I don't want pandora but I don't know of any other music app like it. Are there any other where I can like and dislike songs so they never play them again. Does anyone happen to know if I am a paid subscriber if they'd not "email my guests"? That's not cool. I used to love Pandora.

That appears to be a common problem which has been spoken about on the forum. Fortunately, I haven't run into that problem and hope I don't. I would be lost without Pandora. Maybe Pandora, Verizon, or Motorola will come up with a fix. For people with this problem, I hope so.

Thanks for your inquiry. If you are having an issue with Pandora, I would recommend contacting the developer directly. If you go into the Market and select Pandora, you will be able to find developer contact info there.

I agree - PANDORA broke with GB. I've reported it to them via their Contact info. (I urge others to do the same.) I used to be able to stream Pandora for HOURS pre-GB ... not it will crash my phone anywhere from 1 song to 8 songs in - requiring a Battery pull.

Well, I used to love Pandora and I've been searching for something like it all up until now. I found it... Jango. It works almost exactly the same way but even better (unlimited skips, more song suggestions, no ads). I'm ok with saying goodbye to Pandora now

I have been using Pandora and the main issue I have notice seems to be a data issue not Pandora because regularly I will be listening to Pandora and it just stops playing but if I close the app and restart it will some times work, but on the same note I noticed that ny browser and other web base apps also have issue working so this seems to be a data issue, if I cycle radio the connections will return and all is usually good for about a hour and then it starts again..
I hate to say this but there is only two answers for my issue, the OS is mishandling data to cause dropped connection or the network is having issues with the data...

Wildman i would say your 100 percent right an why i say this i think there is something in the OS that's messing with the phone's internal system, Specifically speaking were the phone switches to read Wi-Fi or when its in its Dormant stage. i have at times seen
an this is with nothing running on Birtha will Drop 3G an the regualar bars an then it'll come back on or She'll just go blank an she'll restart her self. I seen this on accasion when running Fro-Yo but not like it does with Ginger. An like i mentoned in other post
when i've got my Wi-Fi on For a while like when listning to winamp or doing something els an i want to switch back to the Network. it won't switch back an i have to do a restart to get the 3G back on. It almost acks like my Incredibe did back a year ago when you would shut it down an restart it. the 3G
would'nt kick on. so i think this is something more Deep inside than just an App causing the issue but we can't completly Rule them out eather. Its just getting Motorola or Verizon or even Google to see this an investigate it to pute a stop to it. or or come up
with a Fix or Update for the X so it's system can execept an work with the Ginger's Os a little Better than it currently is.
