my location not working

I set option  for my location to "use Wireless networks" and when I go to maps and google page it shows Rockaway beach in Oregon instead of Scottsdale az where I live. What is wrong?

Haha mine showed Rouzerville PA until I enabled GPS. Maybe it's a Google quirk but if GPS is off the phone seems to have no idea where it is. Similar to an old girlfriend who couldn't find her way out of the town where she was born.

Someone else was having this issue. I recommend to make sure the GPS feature was turned on in the settings of the phone. Try that first.  The person landed up fixing the problem by turning wifi feature on and then off.
