Bought phone from Amazon last week and asked for my home number be installed on my new Droid. Then I will cancel my landline. My landline phone service stopped this afternoon and I have received a number of calls on the Droid. My problem is the screen on the Droid is only the date and time. Pushing any of the buttons does not allow me to answer or allow me to dial out. So my home phone is now an inoperable new Droid. Any ideas?

Well, your problem is because you cannot have two different devices with the same number at the same time. You would have needed to cancel your home phone first, then waited for VZW to acquire the number.
