I've had the droid incredible for about 4 months now and it started turning off all the time and apps force cloes ( text messaging as well as 3rd party apps) im sick of this and have done what verizon customer service has told me to do. Is there anyway verizon will give me a different phone ( not another incredible) at the same price i paid for this? Or since im a customer and not a potential new customer are they gonna tell me to {word filter avoidance} and laugh in my face?

more than likely though, they will replace the incredible with another one. they will usually do this a number of times before they offer you a "comparable" device.
