i can't imagine why i keep dropping service, mostly here at home but all weekend too. previous phone had verizon service here & was fine, roomies works too. works at work, drops out alot. have wi-fi capabilities no phone no text. incred 2

I've been having the same problems... and i can't access the clock to set an alarm... very frustrated!!!!!

I hate to hear your having problems with service in your home let's get that fixed right away. Did this just start recently? Do you get the same results outside?
Please remove the battery then reinsert and retest. Please dial *228 send then when prompted press 1 this will update the towers your device searches for. Did this start after a certain application was downloaded? If so please remove the application and retest.
Let me know if these steps help, if not I'll be happy to try some other things with you.

As is evident on this and many other forums, the call quality and reception on the DINC2 are subpar, especially in marginal coverage areas, i.e. indoors. No amount of *228s, reboots, battery pulls, or factory resets will make reception better. The antenna design was poorly done. I do believe, however, that HTC and VZW are aware of this issue. What's being done about it, that remains to be seen.

I suddenly have no service on my Droid Incredible 2 after having completely fine service all day
