When I place a call and the other person answers, they cant hear me. My phone is not on mute so what else could be the problem?
There are actually a few things that can cause this to occur...
So first things first, what shape is your phone in? Any physical or liquid damage to it?
Your microphone may be going bad...but HOLD THE PHONE! (pun intended)
This may actually be cause by the software or apps on your device. Do you recall any applications that have ben installed around the time that you started to experience issues with the microphone?
Also - this sounds farfetched, but it's true.
If you have long hair, and you wear it down (not in a ponytail). The static in the hair can mute the phone. It happens to my Mom's phone all of the time.
Crazy - I know.
