not getting emails like I use to

I've noticed in the past few days I don't get emails coming in to my DX like I use to. I have it set so the phone should check every 15 minutes. Now, I don't get emails until I tap  refresh in the menu.

 

Any suggestions?

This happens to me on occasion. It may have something to do with the cache. What I do is uninstall the provider (Hotmail) and then re-install it. That usually helps. One thing I would suggest if you want to do this is to write down the addresses and the port numbers for the incoming/outgoing mail so you know what's what.

Yesterday I diabled my " No Lock " app and suddenly I started getting emails today at regular intervals.

?????????

 

Curious. I had the No Lock" app installed for a couple weeks and still got my emails like it was suppose to before the problem appeared.

I really don't believe that one had anything to do with the other, just a matter of timing. I have no-lock on both my Droid X and my Droid 2 and still receive mail.

This happens to me all the time. A battery pull usually fixes it. But a pain to have to do that all the time and if I don't remember to do that every couple of days, then I miss all my emails. Since it is critical that I get my emails, I am considering going back to a BB where I didn't have any problems with email like this.

This is starting to become a regular issues for my Yahoo account, it seems to me that there may be a server issue because the problem seems to be with Yahoo accounts for the number of users I have read reports from lately.

If you have the power widget installed make sure you have the sync one on round one with little arrows going in circle. mine quit getting emails and somehow it had got turned off.
