I said '{word filter avoidance}' to the iPhone and went back to my Droid.

I kind of feel whole again.

I had to do it because of the coverage, but I hated the iPhone enough to just go back, regardless of the little service I get here.

Eris if you want ease and simplicity, and small size.

Droid if you want an "I can do everything" device in your phone.

There are alternatives to the Sense UI. There are ways to work around that. However, it doesn't mean it's not worth it. I'm willing to chew through stock UI in exchange for good hardware.

So theres a way to get the Moto Droid to feel exactly like it has Sense UI? And im not talking about an application that i have to load every time i start the phone i mean its just there when i turn on the phone (the Sense UI that is)?

Of course there is. Android is an Open Source OS, it's called Rooting.

 

Unfortunately though, I can't say much more than that or else I'll get in trouble 😕
