well that doesn't work - it is not an exchange account, it is a POP account

Hi Igtccjm,

Great info! What type of Pop email account are you attempting to setup? Does this email account block port 2525? Does the outgoing mail server work when the settings show port 587?

I have to use port 2525.  It does not work with 587.  I am trying to save port 2525 with android email and cannot.

I am sorry you're still having problems saving port 2525 on your DROID BIONIC!  I was able to find a few interesting articles on Motorola's Support page http://bit.ly/16zk00S.  You may need to reach out to their support for additional email server assistance.  Keep us posted!

When I added a my account name and password the message were sent.
