ok, not wanting to be an idiot here, but is there anywhere else or any other setting to make your camera 'flash' when taking a picture other than when you are taking the picture on the right hand side you have flash options ON, OFF, or AUTO ?
I am so upset, I just got my replacement Droid X today via Fed X, my first one had the dreaded screen issue where it went dark and had lines in it, there was no fix for that problem, had to get a new one.....
If anyone knows of anything I can try for the camera, please let me know. I am gonna be pretty ticked if Verizon is gonna have to send me yet another replacement and I have to go re-download all my apps, ect. That took forever !!
Thank you !!

I am not sure of any other settings to make the flash work besides the settings on the right, as mine works just fine. However, another thing you could try to see if the flash/led lights are operational on your device is to download the Droid Light program by Motorola, found on the Android market. It uses the camera flash to create a "flashlight"; no settings are required once installed, just on and off. That would be a good test to see if thee light itself is functional.
