The other night I was out and my phone [Droid Incredible 2] had really low battery but I wasn't able to charge it. But I did see some notification about it trying to do an update before I fell asleep. I ended up leaving my phone on a train, but I did get it back. However when I got it back all of my settings were completely gone, I had no contacts, and I couldn't use the phone (make phone calls or anything), however, I still had all my music and photos on my phone. I called Verizon about the issue, and they said that the network said my phone was still activated, but they reactivated it for me so now it is working (thankfully). But, I'm noticing some different things about the phone: the notifications window is different, when I receive a text while I'm on the phone it makes this notification sound that I didn't even set up, and it vibrates, which is annoying and it never did that before, I also can't trim mp3s to make ringtones, when I do choose a ringtone, sometimes the phone plays it or sometimes it plays something else.
Are all of these new things due to the update? And is what happened with my phone from the update as well? And is there anyway to change/fix any of these things?!

It's time to call Verizon again tell them your case an have Teck go thru with you an do a FR a Factory Reset to Clear that phone if your seeing differences in it. To be on the safe side as someone could of messed with it before you got it back. once the Reset is done it should work as did when you got it New. If it still has issues Take back to the Store. B33
Update:
As for the Gingerbread update you'll see some changes but if your Inc 2 is acting really weared do the FR as it will set it back to when you got it at the store. B33
