The extended battery does help some to get you throgh the day with regular use where the standard battery falls short, I suggest to buy the battery from Verizon because some of the other batteries are not certified for the device and cause problem with charger that can lead to a warrenty void situation.

There are a few minor bugs but what phone does not have them, there has been a number of work arounds to resolve some of the issues reported, Motorola has reported that a update is in the works to resolve a number of the issues that has been reported but a date has not been reported but I havent had any issues with my device to merit a issue to worry aboout at this time, all I have seen is minor in most cases.
3) does the droid x fall under the whole chariging the phone differently like theyve been talking about on youtube that should extended the battery life more?
The way you charge the device really does not impact the batteries life, all you have to do is remember to close unused apps, adjust backlight to a workable level, disable anything that will always require internet access and basically cut down on software that requires a number of the devices resources to run and that causes a large power drain.
4) is there specific reasons to pick the droid x over the incredible besides the size and interface?
Both devices are nice but in my opinion the Droid X device overall out performs the Incredible, it has more internal storage and memory to allow more things to run together before you notice a lagging issue, but I have to admit that I missed the Sense UI but after installing Launcher Pro Plus I havent even noticed not having it because the layout I have gives me all the features I missed.
In the end this is a level of prefrence, what works best for you.

thanks for the answers.
i got another question:
is the extended battery for the incredible (the 2150) make the incredible last longer than the droid x with its extended battery (the 1900 or somehting like that)?

I can not answer that question because I haven't used a Incredible but from what I have read from other forums that the Incredible had a worse battery life than Droid X using the standard battery, also in reality how you use your device will determine which device will do better, Sense UI has been reported to be a resorce hog at times, tt always depend on user on which one works better,

I agree totally with Wildman. However, Wirefly is a good place to look for Droid X accessories, including batteries. There are a few more out there which are good, I just prefer Wirefly.
As for battery usage, standard or extended, it all depends upon the user. Surfing the net, playing high intensity games, texting forever, all these will drain a battery faster than you can say Rip Van Winkle. What I have always done, since my very first cell phone, is have an extra, charged battery. When one goes down, I just switch them out. Then, when I know I will not be using the phone, such as dinner time, I charge up the depleted one.
