I've had my Droid for quite a few years. I currently have a Droid 2 Global. All of a sudden I am getting the letters "DE" in the upper right corner of the status bar. It's to the left of the wifi symbol and connection bars (but appears when i'm not using wifi).
Anyone have any idea what this means???? Thanks!
Maybe it means "Digital Extended" and you are connected to an extended network and not a Verizon Wireless tower?
Is there anything listed in the full online manual for the device that could narrow down the possibilities?

I have the same thing. I have noticed that my battery life seems to have diminished of late. Perhaps this is some sort of prompt related to the actual battery?
