I clicked on "My Verizon Mobile" app for the first time a few days ago and it tells me there's an update available. After the update, I get continuous error messages regarding the app even though I don't try to open it. I uninstall the update using App Manager and the error messages stop but the app will not run. It just keeps telling me it needs an update. I've tried updating through the app, through App Manager, and direction from the App Store. Same results every time.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Good morning, Espresso!
I can help further. What I suggest doing in the same screen as the uninstall under "Settings>Applications>Manage Applications" is to tap "Clear Data" then "Force Stop". After that, reboot your phone and try the My Verizon app again. It should pull up the terms and conditions and have you sign in at that point.
Post here if this works or not.
Thank you!

This worked! I just purchased my Incredible 2 the other day... have been struggling with the same issue. Cleared the data, did the stop... and rebooted. Seem to be working fine.
