My Incredible has had an error for a couple of weeks saying that it is unable to send mail. However, it's sending mail fine -- no problems whatsoever. I'm using gmail through the phone. Any suggestions on how to make the error icon (in the top left of the screen) disappear?

Hi RaleighKat! I could imagine constantly getting the error message is getting frustrating. I would like to assist with clearing this error. Try clearing the Gmail application data in the Settings menu. http://bit.ly/wsIdYI Once cleared, reopen the Gmail application & sync Gmail again. http://bit.ly/IKhEyy Please let me know how that works out for you. Unfortunately, it didn't work. The error message came back after about 20 minutes.
