"my contact card"

I need an assist please.  While entering contact information I must have done something different on one of these contacts as it has the words "My Contact Card" under the name.

This contact is at the top of my contact list and I can not find out a) What I did differently with this contact and b) How to delete it?

Any thoughts are appreciated.

view all contacts, "my contact card" is at top. Click on it to view it

Now hit menu button, and click "Delete". If there is no "Delete option it means it cannot be deleted, so click on "Edit"

Now at the VERY top theres a white box, click on that ... it should open the options to edit the name. You can then put your own name in there

I have the same thing but I know what the My  contacts  label is for   it is  so your info can be sent to some one with out you having to retype it..And if you put your picture in it  then it will be sent with txt messages and e-mails ..But on my HTC android incredible   it has some how been  messed up   I can see it   I can't edit it I can't del it... When I try     I just get a  white screen loading  and it does not go away unless I  hit return.

Migraine, thanks for your inquiry. First, are your contacts backed up thru Google or Backup Assistant? I would suggest clearing cache from the contact database. This will not delete your contacts, but may reset some personalized settings (individual ringtones, favorites, etc). To clear the cache: Settings>Applications>Manage Applications>All>Contacts>Clear data/cache. This should resolve the issue opening your contact card.
