ring tones from a text message

have a ring tone on a tex i want to us how do i get it to my ringtones on thr bionic phone

That happens because you can not save downloaded files to internal memory...  That is normal for all Android device..

 

1. Go to Text Messages view, threader veiw that shows the music note pic when its not opened.

2. Press and hold on Pic

3. Select Save from the list

4. Now the ringer should be saved in SD/Messages folder

5. Then you can copy file to SD Card/Media/Audio/Ringtones and you can then access the ringers through the stock menu.

 

Default

Under Settings / Sounds / Notification

Settings / Sounds / Ringtones

 

gMail:

Open gMail > Left menu button > more > Settings > Scroll to notification area at bottom of list...... All these options works for gMail

 

Email:

Messaging >Left Menu Button > Message Settings > Email > Notifications........  All these control all email accounts.

 

Text Messages

Messaging >Left Menu Button > Message Settings > Text Messaging > Scroll to notification area of list........  All these control all SMS and MMS accounts

Click the audio in the messege and it says play or save... i just did it.

But it saves it to the sd card. I dont know why it does that.
