Recently my Samsung charge will not turn off the display. I have to turn off the phone (not power off) to keep from running down the battery.
Display brightness is auto on with display set to minimum. Any time setting to turn off the display automatically does not work.

Have you checked to verify that you don't have another application that could be conflicting with the display timeout?
Have you tried safe mode to rule out a third party app? Safe mode

Thanks for the reply.
The last application that I installed may of been the culprit so I removed it and restarted.
I tried the safe mode just now and that did not work. The screen never shuts off.
