My "text message memory is full" so I am not getting incoming texts, and I am "Low on space" so I can't update any of my apps anymore. Moving stuff to my sd card would fix this, wouldn't it? I would love to do this, but I have no idea how. I have been trying, but I am old and a tech-idiot, so I'm getting nowhere. Someone please help me?

You have two options here, first to try is to see if your messages app has the option to delete old messages. Open your messaging app, press menu, then check the box for delete old messages, then choose how many you want to keep. Next would be to clear out data on some of your apps. If you go to your homescreen, press menu>settings>applications>manage applications, then select the all tab at the top of your screen. You can then press menu>sort by size. This will sort your apps from largest to smallest. You can then start selecting apps and, if they have large amounts of data associated with them, select clear cache and clear data. Keep in mind that this will erase any settings and log-in information for the app. On my wife's Droid, her browser and facebook app had 5-10 megs each of data that, when cleared, caused texts to start pouring in. If you still feel the need to move some of your larger apps to your SD card, you can then select the SD card tab. This will bring up a list of apps that can be moved to your card. Anything with the box checked is already on your card (some apps get installed there automatically) but you can move others by selecting the app, then pressing move to card. It doesn't always work on the first try so, if unsucessful, try again. With this, you have to remember that any widgets on your homescreen won't work if the app is on your card.
