stuck in the "droid" red screen loop

I've had the charge for about 4 months. This morning when I turned it on it got stuck in the "droid" red screen loop. I've removed the battery, I've turned it off then back on and it still doing the red screen loop. HELP!!! I have no idea how to fix this. Can anyone help me please?

I think ya may have to do a Master reset.

Before you do that, try pulling the SIM card with the battery removed (May be the only way to get to it anyway) and re seat it. And if that does not work, maybe a new SIM will do the trick without a reset. Just grasping at straws here

Here is another approach to avoid a master reset.  Remove the battery, the SIM Card and the SD card.  Leave the battery removed  for MORE THAN 30 minutes.  Yes, more than 30.

After that re-install the SIM card, the SD card and finally the battery.  Press the on/off button to start the phone.

If it re-starts you owe me a cold one.  JUST KIDDING.

Jerry another method that may shorting the time you need to leave out the battery since all you are doing is allow the stored power in the system to dissipate, after pulling battery try pressing the power button with the battery out for 10 seconds and then place battery back in, some of the device stores the reserve power in a compositor on the board and you can discharge it this way... Now I know this isn't the case on all devices but it has worked for me when I had my Droid X.
