How do I make a signature for text messages?
Also, how do I forward a text message that someone sends me?

  • For the signature, you'll have to use another messaging app to get a signature. Try out the app Handcent SMS or ChompSMS
  • As for your 2nd question....open the thread you want with the message you want to forward.  Hold your finger down on the text you want to forward. A menu will pop up & tap forward

That info is incorrect. In the default messaging app, hit menu - messaging settings, scroll down, make sure message signature is checked, then hit edit signature.

All the information that was given is correct. With the android phones you would need to download a text app to add the signature, where as with the simple feature devices the feature maybe already setup on the phone. I hope this helps.

Did you even look to see if the information I provided was correct? You can add signature to text messaging with the DEFAULT app on the Droid 2. No need for a 3rd party app.

The person said all the info is correct. So yours and I's are correct.

I don't have the Droid 2 so I had no idea that the phone came with a signature already on the phone. Most of the older android phones you had to download an app to get a text signature.  In general I see that people like to use the app HandCent SMS rather then the built in messaging app. Maybe because it offers a tad bit more features

That line means you can't add the signature with the default app on an Android device.

I use the handcent app only because it makes the screen light up when a message is received. It has trouble sending video in messages though, and it sometimes struggles to download pics.
