texting problem

i have a droid x2. my plan is through PA. i currently live in AR now and i work in KS. when im in KS i can text everyone i know from AR. when i come home to AR, there are a few people from AR that cannot recieve texts from me. it just says message unable to send over and over. anyone know what is going on? i would like to be able to text my friends when i am home.

Are you using the full ten digit number when you create the text message?

Hi bprince45,

I want you to be able to send and receive your text messages anywhere you go! I see that you travel often, please reprogram your phone every time you visit a different state: dial *228>send>option1>power off/on.
This will ensure the best possible connection with the towers in your area and most likely resolve any service issues with your text messages. Give it a try and keep us posted!
