transferring a ringtone from my old phone to droid

I got the Moto Droid tonight and they deactivated my old phone which has bluetooth on it.  How can I transfer the ringtone from my old phone onto my Droid? I did get them to pair via blue tooth but I don't know what to do next.  Is there another way to do this?  I really want that particular ring.  TIA

I downloaded it to my computer and now I need to move it from my computer to somewhere on my new phone.  I guess I will try what others are talking about - creating folders on the disk and putting it in one of them.

You will have to create some folders on the SD card.  Plug the droid into your computer and mount the SD card.

 

Create Folder structure

   Audio

            Alarms

            Notifications

            Ringtones

 

Copy your ringtone into the Ringtones folder.

 

Then go to menu -> Settings -> Sound & display -> Phone ringtone.  You will see the ringtone you just put there.
