Forget it. You can't. This is an old story with many, many threads.

Verizon needs to give us the opportunity to remove those apps......regardless of what some of you might think of it being 'beaten to death' it is still OUR phone and we should be able to remove those apps....period. They may not take up much space being there etc, but still....don't tell me what I can't and cannot have on MY phone.
and no the problem is NOT a solved problem

You are absolutely correct in saying that we should be able to remove the apps we do not want, or will use. However, until Verizon comes to agree with it's customers' views, there is nothing we can do about it, so why worry? What I have done is download the Launcher apps to replace the generic launcher. This apps gives you the opportunity to remove (make invisible, if you will) any and all apps from the apps drawer that you know you will never use. I prefer Launcher over any of the other launchers, including the generic one. I should also point out that all of the other providers, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc. put apps on their smartphones which can not be removed. Verizon isn't the only one.

The 2.3 update gave the option to group items you want into a usuable group also so you dont have to look at the apps in app drawer... Click icon in uper left corner on app drawer and select new group and check all you want to display..
