The Incredible has been out for over a year and is still ranked in the top 10 android phones,but has yet to see the 2.3 gingerbread update.The Dinc 2 is getting it today ,the X had it 2 months ago ,every other phone has gotten it.Whats up writh that.It seems to me its about time to start thinking about a differtent brand and carrier.Htc and verizon dont deem to care about long time customers.

Im with you.  It appears the majority of older HTC phones by other carriers are getting 2.3.  I want it specifically for the battery life issue.  When is Verizon going to get on with their upgrading?

As far as extending the battery life I don't believe that issue was ever adressed in any of the htc updates.A month after getting my dinc. I bought the Seidio 3500 battery.It's nice not having to carry around a car charger everywhere.Even with decent amount of use I have 60% left at the end of the day.
