Are you referring to the Android 2.2 "Froyo" update? If so its not released yet. The last I heard its coming around the end of summer.
Do you mean the update to 2.2? hasn't been released yet.

Check your current system version. If it says Version 1.13.604.MB810.... You are up-to-date. A limited quantity of phones were rumored to ship with this pre-installed. If it is not this version you will need to press the "System updates" button located in the "about phone" column.
If you are indeed looking for the Android 2.2 update, it's not available yet. There were some reports that yesterday's update was the 2.2, but that was just poor journalism on the parts of certain websites.
The update was rolled out but not every device will get it at the same time. Do the procedure mentioned above and if that doesn't work you will have to wait till it gets pushed to your device. Should be within the next couple of days.
The update changed some things that now do not work or work differently.
