I'm plugging the phone into the usb on my laptop to download pictures but im getting an error that my device is not recognized - help
Make sure you select the notification and put your phone into disk drive mode. If you have done this, I would try a different USB cable or a different port to eliminate those possibilities. The DInc2 is known to have the USB port go bad (my wife had this issue on hers) and that could be what is happening here. If your phone is still charging fine, you could use an app like AirDroid to transfer your pictures wirelessly.
