Why is it that for a phone of this price range there is no printed user guide that comes with it. You have to use the guide on the verizon website. How ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did see where you can order a user guide by calling 1800-734-5870 to order it. I called just now, waited 30 min, and spoke to someone that is in some other country and doesn't speak much English. They said that they were out of stock and to call back at another time. After I insisted, they supposedly put me on a waiting list, but didn't ask for my address until after I asked them where they were planning to send it. More than likely they took my info and put it in the trash.

I would completely understand them not including it, provided that it is available when you call.  This is a way to save a significant amount of money for something that is rarely looked at for more than a few minutes. By not including it, it likely saves at least $10 per phone, if not more. They are saving in printing cost for the book, size of packaging for the droid, shipping cost for droids (extra weight) to get to destination (store or person), warehouse space needed,  store space, etc. Even if they mail guides to those that ask for it, they will save quite a bit.
