i bought my droid 2 a couple of months ago from craiglists and my question is my screen doesnt work no more and its a year warranty (im guessing ) will i be able to take it to verizon because the Droid 2 came out in August 2010. So in esense will the be able to fix it without be actually buying from verizon and my droid 2 screen went black and wont turn on anymore pulled the battery? waited and then tried no luck
this is why im seeing if my phone is still under warrranty.

The warranty is nontransferrable and is only valid for the original purchasing customer only. 😕 I don't believe verizon will do any repair work on your device since it isnt covered by any warranty.
The other poster's correct, you will not have a warranty on a phone purchased from Craigslist or eBay. I know a lot of the sellers there claim they have a 1 year warranty attached but that is wrong (I've even emailed Craigslist and flagged those posters who say that)
It seems as though you'll have to take your phone to one of those repair stores (like the kiosks in the mall or something) to get the screen replaced.
