Does anyone remember the days we had phones that never changed from the day we bought them til the day we junked them? I understand wanting the update but what's another week or 2 its not like they are promised when we buy these android phones I just don't get all the posts attacking each other over this all we can do is wait ....but then what months and months of whining about why its taking so long to release ice cream sandwich (actual name) its nuts I bet if these updates cost anything there wouldn't be such a sense of entitlement. I would love better performance and a few bug fixes but can we ask for more than a device that works? An OS that runs smoothly and doesn't crash.....so that being said why is gb taking so long 
and if we do get it soon the x is one of the few 2010 phones to get it that wasn't released with it I mean heck some new devices across all carriers el be released with froyo on into this year I still say dump fragmentation and skins and give us a unified android os that can be customized by us post release why do carriers get to dictate what we "want"
