How do you disable the phone part of the Droidx in order to use the wifi only? I was told that I could do this and use it in Africa using Skype and not have to use phone minutes. Does anyone know?

You would have to turn the airplane mode on. It turns off all the radios. While in airplane mode, you can turn the wifi back when needed. There are several ways to turn all airplane mode.

1) Press and hold the power button to open the power/lock menu. Select airplane mode.

2) Settings > Wireless & Networks > check on Airplane mode.

3) Download a widget from the market. There are several choices so read the comments and choose the best one for you.
