This probably a dumb question. But what is the wifi for on the droid? Does it not work like a blackberry where you get internet wherever? Or do you have to be in a wireless network to get email and web?

droid will get internet wherever you are thru the 3g network, data plan. the wifi is for when you are in a wifi zone. wifi will take precedence over the 3g, i think it is presumed to be a faster connection.
