Broken Phone

Is it possible to retrieve pictures from a broken phone?  I heard Verizon can do it but it may cost me some money which I'm okay with. I thought the pictures were going to my SD card but apparently the guy at the one Verizon store did not set it up that way. Of course, it's my fault for not checking.  Anyways, if anyone can give me some accurate information that would be great!  I feel stupid for not backing up sooner but I thought they were going on my SD card. This Droid is my first smartphone.

Thanks!

I guess it depends on what's broken about the phone.  Have you tried plugging the phone into your computer and seeing what you can do?

yes and nothing has happened so far. I read some where that Verizon could extract the files for a fee.  If so this is true I will pay.

You would have to ask them about that.

Corporate Verizon stores can do it, nothing indirect like Walmart, Best Buy, etc. the fee is something like $25 if it's possible with your broken device.  Good luck!

I'm sorry you are going through this, gabbyboy22. I have quite a few precious memories stored on my phone also. In some cases  the store can transfer pictures for you. The most important element is that the phone powers on and the charging port works. You should definitely take it to the local store http://bit.ly/3SdsA to see what can be done. Good luck! I hope you get them back.

For future phones, make sure you use BackUp Assistant Plus http://bit.ly/WPUknR which will store contacts, pictures, music documents and videos to our online storage.
