Can I replace the screen in my device?

I have a few light scratches on the glass of my droid turbo 2 and I understand that there is a user removable lens layer that can be replaced. Can anyone confirm?

Gagetman79 - Having scratches on your Droid Turbo 2 is a pain we do not want you to have. Did you add a screen protector to the screen? That would be the only way to remove a layer off the screen.

dont think i added a screen protector to it at time of purchase, as my

previous phones dont scratch that easily, unlike the turbo 2 which

scratches easily. then what purpose does the shattershield kit provide?!

should i return it then? This sucks.

It scratches because it is a plastic top layer. The multiple layers give it its shatterproof protection.

A replacement shield.
