I'm seeing a problem with the Razr's built-in compass only when used with some apps. The compass does not seem to register properly, and it seems to move counter to the direction I move the phone.
The problem is apparent with apps including the bundled Google Maps, and other applications such as Yelp and Google Sky Map. However, in apps such as Compass or GPS Status the compass operates normally.
I've seen other reports of this, but details are sketchy, and I've not found any solutions.
I've tried all the normal things to fix -- recalibrate the phone (both methods), restart, etc., but have not had any luck. This happens wheather or not GPS is enabled.
I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!

happened to me also, but it doesn't work in any application. none. it just randomly gives a direction (i think it's based on tilt sensor instead of magnetometer?)
