Since Lenovo bought Motorola, updates are far & few between. I wouldn't worry too much about it if your phone is functioning properly.

After all the problems I am reading about after the 6.0 update, I wouldn't be in any hurry. I am quite happy with my ancient, but awesome Kitkat 4.4.4 phone.

I tried the WAYYY overpriced Droid Turbo 2 & hated the awful sound quality of the earpiece on phone calls. Found a new 2013 Droid Maxx on E-bay & it blows away both the Droid Turbo 2 & 2014 Moto X.

No idea, some posts say that you have to use the total crap SUA software and update manually; but I can't even get it to see my phone. I've tried all the troubleshooting tips in this and other forums. I'm really tired of waiting for 6.0. It has a lot of features I would use, not to mention the gaping security holes that would have been plugged if Verizon ever gets around to a working OTA update.

We got it - weeks ago.

Try going to settings->system update and having it look for the updates.  There are 2 that you have to do in order.

Marshmallow runs great on the Droid Turbo 2 btw...

Good luck!

Update to my reply above:

I just saw a post here saying that Marshmallow may be damaging some Turbo 2's ability to charge properly and Verizon has stopped rolling it out.  Not sure if that's true or not - you should call Verizon and check.  For what it's worth - I have had zero issues since the upgrade and my phone charges fine.  I guess it's only an issue with some phones if true.  Keep us posted.

You are correct, the best thing to do is for wazzo344 to check for updates regularly. It should be noted that the OP, like me, may be in an area that has not yet received the update. As with nearly all cellular providers they are rolling it out by region to avoid over-taxing their servers and available bandwidth. Another idea to consider, if they are still getting "Your software is up to date" after checking for updates and no updates are available via the Software Update Assistant (SUA), is to contact Verizon and ask about other options for updating to Marshmallow. Personally, I have been checking several times per day nearly everyday since the beginning of February; I still haven't received 6.0. Nothing I can do about it (except move somewhere with high population concentration), it is just a little frustrating.
